TEEN Academic Writing Program

Summer Intensive Writing (For ages 12-17 or Grade 7 -12)

LIT’s Summer Intensive Writing program offers students the extra help they need in building vocabulary and strengthening grammar in order to write effectively. Summer Intensives are offered in 2 modules: 1) Vocabulary and Writing and 2) Grammar and Writing.

Vocabulary and Writing is designed to help students improve their writing communication by introducing advanced vocabulary and helping students understand how to use the words accurately. Students will be able to apply their newly learned terms and expressions in a variety of writing styles.
Grammar and Writing is aimed to guide students in conveying their ideas correctly by understanding complex grammar structures and uses and giving students a more diverse range in their writing.

Each module is a 2-week intensive program held every day from Monday to Thursday for 2 hours in the afternoon. Students may take both modules and complete the entire program in 4 weeks. Students will receive personal feedback on all writing assignments to reinforce positive writing habits, while eliminating common syntax errors. At the end of the program, students will feel confidence in expressing their ideas through writing.
